Let's try to learn deeply about four sections on TOEFL IBT tetst. The explanation below will tell you how each section will be tested.

Reading 

The reading section will test you how well you understand the passage taken from Academic topic and school text book for university. this section doesn't ask you know alot of knowlege about many academic topics , but it more tends to measure your understanding of the passage and can answer the questions related to the topic given. 

Listening comprehension

Listening test of TOEFL IBT measures your ability to understand the long conversation and lecture from academic topics. in the first part, you will listen to two long conversation between two students and it can take place at lecture office or outside. you need to know that each conversation just can be listened once, so you must listen carefully.

Speaking Section

This part assesses your ability to communicate in English on a number of themes. You will be given a limited amount of time to prepare your response to each question. When the preparation time is over, answer the question thoroughly in the time allotted for that question. You should use a recording device to record your replies to the exams in this book. That way, you can go back and compare them to the answer key and rubrics afterwards.

Writing Section

This component assesses your ability to write in English in order to communicate in an academic setting. You will read a text and listen to or read a transcript of a lecture for Writing question 1. Then you'll answer a question on the relationship between the reading passage and the lecture. Try to provide as full a response as you can utilizing information both from reading passage and the lecture.

You are not asked to offer your own view in response to this question. When it comes time to write, you can go back to the reading passage. An effective response will typically be 150 to 225 words long. Your response is evaluated based on the quality of your writing as well as its completeness and correctness.
